A Kite-Inspired 2nd Birthday from Twinkle Twinkle Little Party

We are happy to end the week with an adorable "Kite Party" thanks to Andressa from Twinkle Twinkle Little Party. Andressa styled this event for her son Connor's 2nd birthday and the inspiration for her design came from a kite picture frame that she received as a baby shower gift when she was pregnant for him {how cute is that?} I love the main color palate of blue + yellow that was used, along with all of the coordinating decorations and party printables - which are now available for purchase in her etsy shop. This inspiring kite theme could easily be transformed into a Baby Shower, Gender Reveal or Welcome Baby event as well.

The 'sweets' came from a local bakery and were decorated with coordinating kite-themed toppers.

There were even custom candy bars and water bottles for the little guests to enjoy!

Each lil guest had the chance to decorate their own kite using basic craft supplies - glitter glue, pom-poms and stickers. The kites were hung to dry {and fly} which created a lovely, unique backdrop.

Baby Shower Inspiration: Little Pink Birdies

First of all I'd like to wish all of the Moms a belated Happy Mother's Day - I hope it was a special day for you all! I am excited to share today's Little Pink Birdies Baby Shower Inspiration with you from Paula of Frog Prince Paperie. I just LOVE all of the intricate details seen throughout this event, especially the color palate of soft pinks with touches of green and coordinating birdie decor. Paula transformed her space into the perfect "venue" for her friend's baby shower, complete with gorgeous tablescapes and decor {like this pink pom garland from Pom Flair}.

These gorgeous hydrangea flower centerpieces are made from styrofoam, a Martha Stewart punch and corsage pins....simple yet stunning!

Take a look at this {AMAZING} dessert display - perfectly decorated and full of tasty treats. Hair clips and hair bands from Three Little Bows were added to the birdcage and candy jars for extra flair...what a great idea!

The cupcakes and petite fours were adorned with gumpaste hydrangeas from Sweet Petal Bakery.

An extra special little gift for mom and baby were these adorable burp cloths and wash cloths shaped into candy shapes and cupcakes thanks to Babycakes & Decor. They were packaged and decorated using the coordinating birdie printable cupcake wrappers and toppers from Frog Prince Paperie.
