Vintage Schoolhouse First Birthday Party
Since it's back to school week for many of us, I thought that it'd be the perfect time to share this adorable Vintage Schoolhouse First Birthday Party from Audrey of Sweet Cheeks Tasty Treats in honor of her daughter Harper's special day. Inspired by some Dick and Jane paper dolls that were sitting in her parent's attic, Audrey started collecting fun, vintage schoolhouse items to create this absolutely fabulous event! Be sure to read on to gather all of the details that made her vision a reality. Images courtesy of KV Photography.
Guests were asked to bring a book to add to Harper's library - what a terrific idea!
You can find a tutorial on how to create these adorable Apple Cake Pops {here}. They coordinated perfectly with these vintage-inspired pennant straw toppers and paper straws from Fort and Field.
The alphabet garland from Pretty Little Studio fit nicely with the theme and so did some of Audrey's favorite 'finds', including a set of vintage vocabulary cards, lunch trays, alphabet blocks, a super cute abacus and of course the teacher’s bell.
This dessert table looks DELICIOUS thanks to Sweet Cheeks Tasty Treats {of course!} How gorgeous are those rose cakes created by Audrey herself?
Anders Ruff Custom Designs created the BEYOND adorable invitations, bookplates, thank-you tags, tent cards and party logos - I just LOVE the color scheme and design!
Guests were given a goody bag complete with customized ABC crayons from Touch of Pink.
