Vintage Airline Baby Shower | Loralee Lewis
We are delighted to have the opportunity to share this Vintage Airline Baby Shower designed and styled by the AMAZING Loralee Lewis. She held this stork and airline-themed event in honor of her sister and baby nephew Cole, just a few weeks after he made his grand appearance into the world. What's great about having a baby shower after the little one arrives is that you can show them off to all of your family and friends, making it an extra special time for everyone. There are SO many great details seen throughout this event and Loralee did a fantastic job of incorportating the airline theme {and lingo} into every aspect of it. You can find her Incoming Collection of Party Invitations, Decor and Favors in her online shop {here}. Many thanks to Loralee for sharing this with our readers today.
Guests claimed their ‘Inflight Cuisine’ at the primary table, where there were cake bites and macarons along with peanuts and pretzels, prepackaged into their little Incoming Airlines baggies. The main course was a sandwich and salad that had been boxed in a brown square box with stickers and stamps on it reminiscent of vintage suitcase travel stickers. The cargo was then wrapped in a paper bundle receiving blanket cloth - SO clever!
A vintage dresser was stacked with blue and red suitcases filled with gifts.
The ‘Baggage Claim’ was where guests picked up their suitcase favor boxes. Each box was adorned with stamps and travel stickers and were filled with lovely coordinating stork cookies created by Becky Melton.
About
A mother of four young children, Loralee Lewis knows the importance of creating memories that will last a lifetime. With these principles in mind, Loralee created her event paperie brand in July 2010, with the simple focus of creating designer, personalized event paper for the whole event that you do not have to print, punch, or stress over. She provides everything from the invitation and thank you note to the bottle label and buffet sign, so it is simple to host a world-class event. The demand for her services has been overwhelming, and early success has landed her features in Marie Claire Enfants, the Emmy Awards Swag Bags, Women’s Day, and a spot as the party editor of Babiekins Magazine.
