Maternity {LOVE} by Tiffany Wayne Photography

I met Tiffany of Tiffany Wayne Photography last year at an event and was immediately impressed with her energetic, fun and professional personality. I couldn't wait to take a look at her work and when I did, I instantly fell in {LOVE} with her style. I approached Tiffany about featuring her newborn, maternity and family photos on our site and she was more than pleased to be showcased. I found this among her collection thought it would be the perfect maternity photo to share with you as we enter the week before Valentine's Day.

I simply adore everything about this photo -  the crisp, soft color palate of blues, greys and white, the charming grin on this "big brother's" face as he holds a sign of {LOVE} and the silent connection of mother and unborn baby in the background.

We are excited  for future features of Tiffany's amazing work - in the meantime, please visit her website to view her portfolio and be inspired!

Then Comes Baby: Handprint Towers of Time

I came across this amazing gift idea from Child to Cherish and couldn't wait to share it on today's blog. These Handprint Towers of Time are the perfect way to preserve your little one's handprint so that you can cherish every moment of their growing years and would make a lovely baby shower or newborn welcome gift!

These adorable tins come in {sets of five} graduated sizes and are available in all blue, multi-colored, or all pink. The tins range in size from 4' to 6', contain a non-toxic plaster and a decorative ribbon. They are also numbered 1-5 with the saying "My handprint when I was..."

Wouldn't you {LOVE} to have the opportunity to “preserve the innocence” of your child and make memories that will last a lifetime?

Handmade Feature: Elephant Nursery Mobile

Today's lovely feature comes from Gisele of Love Felt Creations and showcases this amazing Elephant Nursery Mobile, that is 100% handmade and handsewn...

This adorable, fun and unique piece features five sleepy elephants that measure 4" x 4" each {with a neutral color palate of olive, ivory, gray, tan, brown}, one cloud, one moon and several raindrops. It hangs from a 13" x 13" white wooden hanger and measures 16" from hanger to bottom. It can be hung from the celing with a secure hook, or designed to attach to a crib arm adapter.

The elephants are exactly the same on both sides - some have a gorgeous olive and ivory fabric on the ears and fun, colorful buttons that match the color scheme.

All of Gisele's items are made to order and she will gladly customize your mobile to the color and fabric patterns of your choice to match your baby's bedding or nursery theme.

Lil Edibles: Not Too "Sweet" Valentine's Treats

Today's Lil Edibles feature is about sharing ideas on how you can make some special Valentine's Day treats for your little one that won't send them into a "sugar-shock". I'm always looking for ways to make meals more appealing to my kids, while offering them healthier options and have found that it's all in the presentation! {at least in my house...if it looks good, it tastes good}

The first feature comes from Parents and showcases two really great (and healthy) breakfast or snack options. I just love these Healthy Heart Sweet Tarts {pictured left} that are simply mini pie shells filled with low-fat yogurt and fresh fruit! And how about these super-cute Heart Kabobs {pictured right}, made using your favorite melons and a heart-shaped cookie cutter! They even have a recipe for a citrus yogurt dip to go with them!

Now let's move onto lunch - I simply adore everything about this plentiful plate featured by Jill on her site, Meet the Dubiens. The soup is served in a heart-shaped bowl and even contains little heart cheese cubes. The apples were made by using a heart cookie cutter on a red and green apple and switching the cutouts to give them a little flair! For dessert, a cherry jello heart made using a silicone muffin liner.

For dinner, Brittany from One Charming Party has a great idea to add little pepperoni hearts to your favorite homemade pizza recipe! Just take a small heart-shaped cookie cutter to the pepperoni before you bake it and tell your kids it's made with {LOVE}!
