We are delighted to end the week with this SEW CUTE Sock Monkey Birthday Party submitted by By Renee Hagloch of the Creative Orchard. Renee styled this event in honor of her son Allen's 2nd Birthday and centered the theme around his love of of monkeys. She came across a vibrant, colorful assortment of sock monkeys called Genuine Monkeez from Midwest CBK and knew they'd be the perfect inspiration for this event. There are SO many wonderful DIY projects and details seen throughout this party and Renee certainly made this celebration colorful, fun and kid-friendly. Leaf shaped fabric placemats ran in a line down each side of the table with multi-striped fabric shower curtains as tablecloths. Chair cushions were placed on the ground for comfort - SO cute!
Monkey cups were made from construction paper with circular paper punches glued around clear plastic cups. Colorful straws and a "Barrel of Monkeys" toy were added for extra 'flair'.
The dessert table featured yarn wrapped cardboard letters that spelled "SEW CUTE" hung from ribbon. The banana split bar was a guest FAVORITE with homemade vanilla ice cream, fresh bananas & lots of toppings.
