Photographing Newborn Multiples | Katherine Chambers

Thanks so much for stopping by - we hope that everyone had a fantastic weekend! Today we have some fabulous newborn multiple sessions to share with you from the talented Katherine Chambers Photography. She gladly shares her thoughts on how to have a successful mulitple newborn photo session...

"I've been a Cleveland newborn photographer for 14 years now and photographing triplets and twins is no easy task. Having photographed two sets of triplets and multiple sets of twins I've learned that you need to be extremely prepared for these sessions. I have all of my props and set-ups planned well in advance and I have lots of extra towels and such for LOTS of clean ups! I try to prepare the Mom and Dad for an long session (sometimes 4-5 hours) as it can be very tricky keeping all the babies calm and peacefully asleep. Photographing newborns is very rewarding job and it can be doubly (and triply) so with multiples."

Newborn Sweetness | Stephanie Cotta Photography

Stephanie Cotta is an award-winning natural light newborn and family photographer in Saint Louis, Missouri. She hosts newborn mentoring workshops in her studio and also travels nationwide for newborn and mentoring sessions. Her natural light studio gives the most amazing light and with a few space heaters and some white noise, she creates the perfect environment for newborn sessions. When I received this submission from Katherine Chambers Photography, I knew it would be the PERFECT way to start off this weeks blog. Katherine Chambers is a newborn, baby and family photographer in the Cleveland, Ohio area since 1999 and as you can see, her work is AMAZING! This precious little one could not be any sweeter in her little Easter basket and I absolutely love all of the perfectly arranged props Katherine used to make this a truly memorable photo session - we hope it has made your day a little brighter {we're still smiling ear to ear}.

Life's Little Miracle | Alana Donovan Photography

Today we have a very touching and emotional newborn story to share with you thanks to Alana Donovan Photography. Alana had initially met this family when they called upon her after the loss of their newborn son and although precious Kooper was only in this world for a short time, his memory would last forever. One year later, after thinking they would not be able to have another baby, they contacted Alana again...this time to capture the images of their beautiful baby girl Kennedy, who has been life's little miracle to this family. Alana arrived at their home to begin their session and was greeted by mom who shared some special momentos of big brother Kooper, including a photo book full of prayers, poems and images that help keep his memory alive. Kennedy is certainly surrounded by a loving family and her brother will always be watching over her.
