A "Preppy Poodle Party" by EAE Personalized Creations

Today we are delighted to share this Preppy Poodle Party submitted by Amber of EAE Personalized Creations. Amber created this party in celebration of her daughter's 2nd Birthday and glady shares the details that went into the planning...

I started working on my Emery's 2nd Birthday shortly after I had finished her first. Since she was born we have casually called her our little poodle so I knew that we had to do a poodle theme for her second birthday party. When I was looking up ideas for poodle partys the only thing I was getting back was the poodle in paris theme so I knew I had to put my creative cap on and get to work. My color scheme was established early, I've always loved Navy and Pink together, I think its a classic combo that also gives a preppy clean feel in which I was trying to achieve. We designed the poodle graphic early using a fabric collection with the main pattern being quatrefoil and incorporating stripes.
Im am a huge DIY'er and a planner. I have been gathering pieces and ideas for months. Everything aspect of this party I had a hand in. I wanted this party to have a very modern preppy feel. My favorite piece would have to be the poodle pastries stand. I went to my sister in law with the idea of a mini lemonade stand that I had envisioned to use in place of traditional cupcake stands. I couldn't be more happy with how it came out.
I also love and so did the kids, Poodle ears (for the girls) and brown puppy ears (for the boys) that I ran across at a local dollar store in the dollar bin for halloween!! What a score! My cupcakes and puppy cake looked and tasted amazing! I also played off the Rhyming and use of words with P's involving poodles. Some of my favors included Poodle Polish (nail Polish) and Shampoodles (mini shampoos). My sister is a hair stylist and I had her doing " poodle pedis" and the kids enjoying picking their polish and having their nails painted, As another favor I gave little bottles of paul mitchell kid shampoo and named them shampoodles.

A Sweet Backyard First Birthday

Today's sweet backyard First Birthday Party was submitted by our friends over at EAE Personalized Creations. Ella's special celebration planning had begun and mom Kami asked the team at EAE to create an invitation using the soft vintage color palette of pinks, greens and yellows. Once the invite was established all of the other party details fell nicely into place, creating an {adorable} backyard event that everyone was sure to enjoy!

Precious photos of Ella were used to add a special touch to the tablescapes.

One of the crowd favorites were the mason jars were filled with homemade lemonade - the kids absolutely loved using the straws with quirky sayings.

Diving right into her gorgeous birthday cake, Ella sat in the same highchair that her mom used as a child, a truly keepsake moment...

A photo collage is a great way to display your little one's growth over the past year and an outdoor photo booth area, complete with props, gives your guests a fun activity to try during the party!

I LOVE this display of Ella's milestones - such a great way to share her first year of development!

Favors included wrapped playdoh with personalized labels as well as bags of sugar cookie mix - YUM!

Vintage Milk + Cookies First Birthday

We are delighted to end the week with this {darling} Milk + Cookies First Birthday from EAE Personalized Creations. The main inspiration behind the design was a love for all things vintage, combined with a soft color palette and the incorporation of a variety of different patterns. There were many DIY projects used throughout this party, which always adds a special, more personalized touch. I especailly LOVE the "stash" props that were used to create a fun photo-op for the guests! Some words of advice from Mom/Party-Planner "Be creative, don't be afraid to do things and make them yourself - it only makes it more special and gives you a sense of accomplishment. Dont be afraid to mix colors patterns and textures, follow your heart and enjoy"...

Such a clever way to have the milk + cookies ready to serve and I {LOVE} the vintage bottles!

Sure looks like everyone is having fun!

Guests can leave their "Wishes for the Birthday Girl" as a keepsake of this celebration...

I couldn't help but share this beautiful little one, clearly enjoying her special day!
