A {VERY} Special Newborn Session | Saratography

Today I am honored to share this {VERY} Special Newborn Session for two main reasons. For starters, it was submitted by the incredibly talented Sara Baldwin of Saratography and secondly, it features the newest addition to our family, my niece Mia Francesca. Mia was born on October 23, 2013 and is the first child for my sister and brother in law. She has been a pure blessing to our family since she entered the world and we are delighted to have Mia enrolled in Saratography's "Watch Me Grow" program, where all of her milestone portrait sessions will be captured up through her first year - what a GREAT keepsake!

We'd also like to take this time to wish all of you a very Happy Holiday Season and as always thank you for your support of our site throughout the year. We will return after the new year with more of the BEST baby ideas and inspirations to come!

Newborn Session | Lauren Ayres Photography

Today we are delighted to feature a {sweet} Newborn Session with you thanks to Lauren Ayres Photography, a Brooklyn/NYC based photographer specializing in maternity, newborn, child, and family photography. Lauren shares the details...

This sweet little lady (Alyssa) is the first child for Lisa and Jim. I travelled to their home in Weehawken, NJ for this session. She was awake for the first part of our session but eventually tuckered out and slept like an angel. Her mom and dad simply adore her and can't get enough of just staring at her sweet face. They sat closeby while our session took place and just ooohed and ahhed over each new pose and how angelic their daughter looked. You can just tell Alyssa is going to be absolutely adored. Plus, Dad is an expert at the baby swaddle, even better then me!

Today's Newborn Session comes to us from Lisa Johnson Photography and features precious little Clara who was just 7 days "new" at the time of her session. I LOVE all of her facial expressions and she already seems like a little natural in front of the camera. My favorite image is the one captured with mom and dad...priceless! Lisa specializes in newborn, baby, children, maternity and family photography in all areas of Ottawa. Phoenix Newborn Session | Studio Moirae Photography

We are so happy to start off the week with an AMAZING Phoenix Newborn Session from our friends at Studio Moirae Photography. This precious little girl was welcomed in to the family and as you can see, her big brother has already started his duties of caring for his new baby sister. I absolutely LOVE the expressions on his face as he watches over her and also his signs of affection by taking her hand {so incredibly precious!}. Studio Moirae Photography once again delivers stunning images of a simply beautiful little family. 

Newborn Session: A Trio of Brotherly Love

I am beyond excited to end this week with our first "mulitple" newborn session thanks to Sarah King of Capturing Fireflies Photography. Thirty little fingers and thirtly little toes, these boys are natural triplets born to a mommy that is a twin herself...{AMAZING}. Each weighed approximately five pounds at birth and were so healthy that they did not have to spend one single day in the NICU. This session was captured at three weeks old with some help from fellow photographer Gillian Thrush.
