A {VERY} Special Newborn Session | Saratography

Today I am honored to share this {VERY} Special Newborn Session for two main reasons. For starters, it was submitted by the incredibly talented Sara Baldwin of Saratography and secondly, it features the newest addition to our family, my niece Mia Francesca. Mia was born on October 23, 2013 and is the first child for my sister and brother in law. She has been a pure blessing to our family since she entered the world and we are delighted to have Mia enrolled in Saratography's "Watch Me Grow" program, where all of her milestone portrait sessions will be captured up through her first year - what a GREAT keepsake!

We'd also like to take this time to wish all of you a very Happy Holiday Season and as always thank you for your support of our site throughout the year. We will return after the new year with more of the BEST baby ideas and inspirations to come!

A Gender Reveal Photo Shoot | Saratography

Today's sweet Gender Reveal Photo Shoot comes to us from Saratography, one of my local {and favorite} photographers. I love the idea of a gender reveal session as its a great way to share the news with family and friends while having an everlasting keepsake of that special time. Sara has since been in touch to say that this lovely couple welcomed their little one just a few weeks ago and everyone is doing very well. Thanks also go out to Compliments for the balloons for this session.

'Watch Me Grow' Newborn Session by Saratography

I am delighted to end this week with an adorable newborn session from Saratography. This little man "Chase" is a 'Watch Me Grow' baby who's parents have purchased a 6-session portrait package with Sara that will capture key moments from Maternity through his First Birthday. Chase's mom is a teacher and his dad is an avid turkey hunter so Sara thought it'd be nice to incorporate a little something for both of them in this newborn session. I just {LOVE} all of the adorable hats and props that were used and I especially love how baby Chase is resting on a pile of classic Dr. Seuss children's books in this first image - what a GREAT idea...
